Burglaries around Charlotte Pike area   printer

Last week, a group of concerned business people and neighbors met with Metro Police to talk about recent burglaries along Charlotte Pike. These business owners are concerned for their customers, employees and the neighborhood as a whole. Crime often makes us feel powerless, but there are things we can do such as reporting crime to police when we see it or suspect it and communicating with others in the area.

You can learn how to do this by joining Neighborhoods Resource Center at Cohn Adult Learning Center this Thursday, September 18 at 6 pm. NRC is offering a community training on “How to Fight Crime in Your Neighborhood”. Gain helpful skills in relating with the police, accessing crime data and developing a strategy to use with neighbors. Contact Blaine Ray at 782-8212 to register or for more information.
