Education:
Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Vanderbilt University.
Undergraduate degree in management from Trevecca Nazarene University.
2007 graduate of the Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence Leadership Program
 
Experience:
Prior to joining St. Luke’s, Brian served for 4 years as the Chief Executive Officer of Nashville’s Table, a nonprofit hunger relief organization which merged with Second Harvest Food Bank in 2005. He also served as the Director of the Tennessee Government Executive Institute at the University of Tennessee. He has served as a consultant to the University of Tennessee, Vanderbilt University, Cisco Systems, St. Thomas Hospital and the State of Tennessee Department of Personnel.

Boards, Councils, and more:
Diller serves on the Association of Nonprofit Executives Council and the Richland/West End Neighborhood Association. He previously served as Board President for Nashville’s Table. He is also a former board member of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Emerging Leaders, The United Way of Williamson County, the Domestic Violence Intervention Center, The Downtown Rotary Club and the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville. He has served as a panelist for the Vanderbilt University Net Impact Conference and the Center for Nonprofit Management Leadership Conference.

Favorite St. Luke’s Memory:
Was when a 5 year old child performed a poem at her Pre-School graduation in English, Vietnamese and Sign language.

About me:
His wife, Whitney, is a writer for Southern Living Magazine and InFocus. They have two children, Nathan and Madeline. In a former life I was a professional guitar player who performed with Ray Charles, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
